The desire to express herself through her body has inspired Anne Marie to become a professional dancer in Brussels and, subsequently, a ballet teacher in Paris. Seeking an increasing contact with her inner self, she joined very soon the journey of Yoga and Zen Buddhism.
She had a chance to experience and learn about IYENGAR ® yoga as early as 1985. From then on, she has consistently followed the philosophy of Sri BKY Iyengar, attending his classes in Puna (India) and his closest disciples’ (Faeq and Corinne Biria) in Paris, to become a certified IYENGAR® instructor.
She is now an active member of the French Association of Iyengar® Yoga (AFYI), where she is in charge of the teacher training program. She is also a member of the technical panel and a jury for examinations and teacher qualifications. Sharing, spreading and passing onto others the art of Yoga and teaching of BKS Iyengar fills her with joy, every day. Her learners encourage her to pursue exploring the infinite depths of Yoga.
Anne Marie will be supported by Philippe Moreau, who is a Iyengaryoga teacher and a long-time yoga practitioner.
Philippe Moreau learned about yoga in 1981, and began practicing assiduously in 1984.
He discovered IYENGAR® yoga in 1999: the level of detail, accuracy and precision of the method brought him to the innermost depth of this practice.
He obtained his teaching certificate, after training for many years.
In these past years the practice and teaching of IYENGAR® yoga have become his main activity and center of interest.
Bringing well-being to its practicing students, while passing on this ancestral discipline is a dream coming true.
