Taylor Hunt is a devoted practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga yoga. He makes yearly trips to Mysore, India to further his studies under the guidance of his teacher, Sharath Jois. In 2013, Taylor was granted Level 2 Authorization to teach and has had the honor of assisting in the shala on several occasions.
Taylor is dedicated to sharing the healing practice with others and providing a community where practitioners can find support in their practice and daily lives. Seeking to preserve the traditional method, Taylor teaches Mysore classes at Ashtanga Yoga Columbus and Ashtanga Yoga Savannah as well as offers workshops around the world.
He is also the author of
A Way From Darkness and director of the
Trini Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the life-changing practice of Ashtanga with those suffering from addiction. He continues to inspire others through his story of personal transformation and accessible approach to the practice.
Kathleen Cunico has nearly a decade of dedicated Ashtanga yoga practice, which she both teaches and embodies with passion and precision. Driven by a deep desire to help others find healing and strength through yoga, she draws on her personal journey of transformation and unwavering commitment to inform her teachings. Her approach is both compassionate and challenging, allowing students to push beyond their perceived limits while honoring their individual process.
Kathleen has been a student at Ashtanga Yoga Savannah for the past four years, where she has continued to deepen her practice under the expert guidance of Taylor Hunt. Over time, she has earned her place as one of his regular online teachers, guiding students from all corners of the world. In addition to her online presence, Kathleen teaches workshops around the globe, sharing her expertise with diverse audiences, and leads daily classes through Ashtanga Yoga Zoom.
Kathleen specializes in handstands and arm balances, showcasing her mastery of advanced postures, and is proficient in the first three series of Ashtanga Yoga.
